Cyber Hygiene Self-Assessment

Use this quick self-assessment to gauge your organisation’s basic cybersecurity hygiene as of 2017. If you answer “No” to any of the questions below, consider taking action.

Checklist

• Are all your devices protected by up-to-date antivirus or endpoint protection?
• Do you apply patches and software updates at least monthly?
• Is your Wi-Fi secured with WPA2 encryption and a strong password?
• Do you use different passwords for different systems?
• Is Two-Factor Authentication enabled for email and key platforms?
• Do you have working, tested backups stored separately from your main systems?
• Do employees receive security awareness training at least once per year?
• Are unused user accounts and software regularly removed?
• Do you monitor access to critical systems or files?
