IT Resilience Readiness Checklist

Use this checklist to evaluate how prepared your organisation is to maintain IT operations during disruptions, including those introduced by the COVID-19 pandemic.

✅ Infrastructure & Continuity

• Redundant power and internet sources in place
• Data backups stored offsite and tested regularly
• Disaster Recovery Plan documented and updated

✅ Cloud & Remote Access

• Core business systems accessible via the cloud
• VPN or Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) configured
• Secure authentication (MFA) enabled for all remote users

✅ Business Continuity Planning

• BCP reviewed within the last 12 months
• Key staff aware of responsibilities in case of outage
• Resilience drills conducted at least twice per year

✅ End User Support & Security

• Remote support tools deployed
• Device policies updated to support WFH
• Antivirus, patching, and monitoring active on endpoints
